Hotel Sachsentor in Bergedorf, a quaint suburb of Hamburg, was a delightful find this Christmas season. The easy walk from Bergedorf station to the hotel made our arrival a breeze. The staff, though not completely fluent in English, were exceptionally accommodating and warm.Our room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, providing a comfortable sanctuary after our adventures in Hamburg. The view of the beautiful gardens from the terrace was truly captivating, adding a touch of serenity to our stay.The hotel's convenient location not only allowed us to easily visit family but also explore the charming town of Bergedorf. With its array of shops, bars, and eateries, there was always something new to discover just around the corner.The daily breakfast, featuring fresh bread, meats, cheeses, and a hot selection. And with good links to Hamburg Airport and the city center, our travels around the area were smooth and hassle-free.Hotel Sachsentor provided a cozy haven in the heart of Bergedorf, blending modern comfort with the town's historical charm.
